What Datumel is
Datumel provides free browser tools for contractors, fixed-price written audits and reviews delivered as PDFs by email, done-for-you system installs (“Builds”), and a monthly Operations Partner retainer. Prices and scope for paid services are listed on the pricing page and confirmed in writing before any work starts.
Free tools
The browser tools are provided free of charge, as-is. They help you produce working documents — bid levels, scope-gap lists, change-order memos, and similar — from information you supply. You are responsible for checking any output before you rely on it or send it to anyone. We may change, limit, or retire a free tool at any time.
Not professional advice
Nothing we produce — tool outputs, audits, reviews, or Builds — is legal, accounting, engineering, or other professional advice. A change-order memo does not modify a contract or guarantee payment; an audit names where we believe margin is leaking, not a certified financial finding. Review your own contracts and consult the appropriate professional before acting on anything we deliver.
Paid engagements
- Audits and reviews are fixed-fee written deliverables. The scope is what the service page describes at the time you buy.
- Builds are scoped and priced in writing before work begins. Work installed into your own tools belongs to you.
- The Operations Partner retainer is billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
- A paid audit fee is credited toward the matching Build, as described on the pricing page.
Your information
To do the work, you may send us documents and details about your business. We use them only to deliver the service you bought and handle them as described in our privacy policy. You confirm you have the right to share whatever you send us.
Intellectual property
The site, its content, and our tools remain ours. Deliverables we write for you — the PDF audits and reviews — are yours to use inside your business; they may not be resold or republished. Anything we install into your own accounts and tools during a Build is yours.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the site or tools: no attempting to break or overload them, no scraping at scale, no using them to produce misleading documents, and no reselling access.
Liability
We stand behind the quality of our written work, but decisions about your bids, contracts, and jobs are yours. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profit on a job.
Refunds
Refunds are handled as described on our refund policy page.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the services evolve. The date at the top reflects the latest revision; continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Engagements already underway stay on the terms in force when they started.
